1) A cute coffee-loving doodle to start your day. Um…you’re welcome? I’m sure you are wishing it came with a cup of coffee or tea offered through your computer screen, but I’m afraid the technology to do that hasn’t quite developed yet.
2) If you’re wondering why posts are a little thin these days, I unfortunately took a nasty tumble off my bicycle a bit ago and am still nursing some unpleasantly painful and inconvenient scrapes and bruises. Hands don’t exactly like cooking when they hurt, so…bummer. Still, I’m on the mend (Yay!) and therefore – quite soon – I’ll be cooking, baking, and typing out gibberish for the Internet world more frequently. :)
3) Since I’m being lazy and blathering about tea and coffee (um…when am I not doing those things?) I’d really love it if someone would make cookies for me. Specifically these Ultimate Almond cookies! I love almonds & almond flavor and these little cookies look like they’d complement a cup of tea or coffee particularly well. I wonder how they’d taste if they were dipped in chocolate…with toasted sweet coconut…
My imagination is dangerous.
4) I’m kinda mesmerized by this Heirloom Tomato pizza…
I love pizza, it’s honestly one of my favorite junky/comfort foods – the best part is it can even be made a bit healthier without loosing any of it’s flavorful appeal. This particular pizza caught my eye because it’s ridiculously colorful. That’s reason enough to want a piece…or three.
5) Um…this hot fudge sundae cake. Wow. Smitten Kitchen never ceases to amaze me. Yum!
6) I’m in between books. There are about a billion I can think of that I want to read but I’m being indecisive (shocker.) I can’t really choose what I’d most like to read next. Meanwhile, while I’m making up my mind about a new book, I hereby declare it nostalgia-novel time…
